“The Sociology of Access to Justice”

A.M.P. Government Law College, Rajkot, in collaboration with the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, Ahmedabad, successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on “The Sociology of Access to Justice” on 30 September 2026. The workshop focused on the psychological and social barriers affecting access to justice. Dr. Bharat Kher and Dr. Nitin Makwana delivered insightful sessions, followed by interactive discussions and a practical access-to-justice mapping exercise. The programme provided participants with valuable interdisciplinary perspectives on legal awareness, inequality, social barriers and access to remedies. The workshop concluded with valedictory remarks and a vote of thanks.
